You won't want to miss this year's conference titled, Technology Integration and the New Standards (TINS), which will be held in conjunction with Western Buckeye Educational Service. The conference will include sessions emphasizing 21st Century skills and technology tools that help build student capacity for learning, work and life.
Nationally known speaker Alan November, whose presentations are thought-provoking, creative and motivating will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday, August 10. Alan November is well known in the educational community and through his speaking engagements; books; Web site http://novemberlearning.com/ and other resources he helps empower educators to apply powerful tools and strategies across the curriculum. Alan makes people think questions and laugh!
Sean Smith will be the keynot speaker on Wednesday, August 11. Sean is an associate professor in the Department of Special Education as well as an associate researcher with the Center for Research on Learning and the eLearning Design Lab at the University of Kansas. Sean strives to enhance technology integration to ensure ALL students have meaningful access to the curriculum and learning. You will leave with technology-based solutions applicable to the needs of ALL
students, but critical to the success of those with learning challenges!
