Fresh Cookies from the Oven

There's just nothing better than freshly baked cookies from the oven! According to pleased customers, The Cookie Jar and More has the freshest baked cookies. Could this be true I wondered? When asked, Founder and General Manager, Christy Johnson said, “We use the highest quality and finest local ingredients.” When asked if they have a secret ingredient, Christy said, “Freshness!”
Christy and her partner, Maureen Lanigan Co-Founder and Director of Research and Development, started The Cookie Jar and More business in September 2006. The business is located at 130 East Court Street in Bowling Green, Ohio. Christy's favorite is the Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon Chip cookie. The biggest seller is the Chocolate Chip cookie. They have daily specials and many holiday specials. In case you were wondering, they do not sell cookie jars as yet but they may in the future.
Their process of making cookies includes spending the morning making the cookie dough (from scratch) for that day. They shape the dough into balls. When orders come in, they take the cookie dough balls out of the refrigerator and place them on cookie sheets. Next, they press down the dough and put the cookies in the oven. Then you wait for your fresh baked cookies to come out of the oven!
