The Underground Railroad is the name we give to a collection people (conductors), sites (safe houses) and routes used by escaped slaves as they moved from the South to the North and ultimately Canada.  Visit these websites to gather information about the Underground Railroad.  Each web site has an address (URL).  Type the URL in the go box on your web navigation program (i.e. Netscape; Microsoft Explorer, etc.)
